Clark Rehabilitation Services Team

Our team is experienced, empathetic and enthusiastic. From nurses to therapists, every staff member requested to join the Clark Rehabilitation Services team. You will have consistent nursing staff and consistent therapists, but will get to know them all. Every staff member is licensed and/or certified.

Health Care Staff

Medical Director, James Passinault, MD

James Passinault, MD is Clark's medical director. He is a board certified internal medicine physician with fellowship training in geriatrics. Dr. Passinault, or one of his partners, is at Clark at least three days a week. A physician is always on call for emergencies.

Director of Nursing, Jane Johnson, RN

A Clark staff member since 1990, Jane Johnson, RN, became Clark's Director of Nursing in 2003. She oversees nursing and rehabilitation services.

Clinical Care Coordinator, Mischelle Brinks, RN

Mischelle Brinks, RN has been in long term care for more than two decades and has a wealth of rehabilitation experience from her years working at Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital. She manages the nursing services in the rehabilitation households.

Medical Social Worker, Sandra Reno

Sandra Reno has worked in the long term care field since 1994. As a licensed medical social worker, she helps you and your family plan for your return home.

Charge Nurse & Certified Nursing Assistants

To promote consistency of care, the same charge nurses and certified nursing assistants are assigned to rehab residents. Clark does not utilize agency personnel.

Rehabilitation Staff

Physical Therapists

Physical therapists help you with large muscle movement such as bed mobility, transferring safely from one location to another, walking and using a wheelchair. They also work with you to decrease pain and improve strength, endurance, balance and range of motion.

Occupational Therapists

Occupational therapists help you become self-sufficient with things like dressing, cooking and personal hygiene. They teach you how to protect your muscles and joints and also help you increase strength and endurance.

Speech-Language Pathologists

The focus of speech therapy is to evaluate and treat your hearing, language and communication disorders as well as swallowing. They help you recover oral motor skills which helps improve speech as well as eating abilities.
